Ten Commandments of Bleaching 1. Thou shalt not get sick. (Antibiotics mess with coloring your hair) 2. Thou shalt not put your hair in chlorinated pools. (However, lakes, oceans, and streams are permitted.) 3. Honor thy hair by tying it up well before riding in open cars, speedboats, roller coasters, motorcycles, etc. 4. Thou shalt not allow your hair to be in the sun. 5. Thou shalt have your touch-up every 3 1/2 weeks. (Three days leeway is all that is allowed.) 6. Thou shalt never use detergent shampoo on your hair. (Nor use excessive amounts of gel or hair sprays.) 7. Thou shalt read labels and avoid all oil in products. (For oil removeth a delicate toner.) 8. Thou brushes, combs and blow dryers will be of the He & Mo sanctioned variety. 9. Thou shalt not perm or use curling irons. 10. Thou shalt not scratch thy scalp, itch or vigorously brush thy scalp prior to your appointment. |
